What does your design process generally look like?
Read/plan, rough sketch, design, then fix and polish.

What is your most memorable Topcoder design challenge during this TCO19 qualification and why?
LUX - Plantasium Mobile App Design Concepts Challenge. It was open for new ideas and innovation; a hard but really fun one to work on.

Who do you think is the most fierce or talented designer at Topcoder and why?
Tough question. If I have to pick who stands out among designers, I would say iaminfinite and L.O.I. as they have good design skills and understanding. Moreover, they have a never-ending source of energy to submit in overlapping and continuous challenges.

What design software and hardware do you use and why?
I use a Macbook. Mainly Adobe XD for design software because it’s fast and convenient.

What do you do when not working?
Play games and spend time with my kids.

Where do you work? Tell us about your space(s).
I have a home office setup which is separate from the main house area. I spend most of my day at the office. There is also a sofa bed for a quick nap.

What’s the best tip or piece of advice you can share with other members at Topcoder?
Keep trying and never stop learning.

What are you most excited about for this year’s TCO Finals?
Meeting new UI design finalists.

Do you strive to be at TCO every year and if so, why does it matter to you?
Yes, so I can meet the great people whom I have been working with.

What was your secret to getting a ticket for the TCO finals more than once?
Keep submitting.
